I took Google’s AI Prompting Essentials course and here’s the cliff notes version if you also want to improve your AI prompt engineering skills! The course is structured into four modules: Module 1 introduces frameworks for crafting prompts, Module 2 focuses on designing prompts for everyday tasks, Module 3 is about using AI for data analysis and presentations, and Module 4 covers using AI as a creative or expert partner. The course provides a five-step framework for designing prompts: task, context, references, evaluate, and iterate. It also discusses advanced prompting techniques, multimodal prompting, and the importance of human oversight to address issues like hallucinations and biases.
