About Daniel N. Leib
Daniel N. Leib has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN) since the company's spin-off from R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in October 2016, when DFIN began trading on the New York Stock Exchange as an independent public company (NYSE: DFIN).
Prior to leading DFIN, Mr. Leib served as Chief Financial Officer of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, where he was responsible for finance, investor relations, treasury, tax, internal audit, and enterprise strategy. His work on capital structure and business portfolio at RRD directly shaped the 2016 tri-separation that created DFIN, LSC Communications, and the successor RRD.
At DFIN, Mr. Leib has led the company's transformation from a print-oriented financial regulatory services business into a software and technology-forward provider of risk and compliance solutions for public and private companies, investment companies, and capital markets participants. Under his tenure, DFIN's software solutions (including Venue, ActiveDisclosure, Arc Suite, and eBrevia) have become a growing share of net sales, and the company has consistently returned capital through its share repurchase program.
Mr. Leib holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
DFIN was named a Most Loved Workplace® by Best Practice Institute, recognition rooted in employee sentiment across the SPARK framework (Systemic Collaboration, Positive Vision of the Future, Alignment of Values, Respect, and Killer Achievement).
