    Announcing the 2015 Best Practice Awards

    Best Practice Institute (BPI) is officially calling for nominations for the 2015 Best Practice Awards. We are accepting entries to recognize excellence across four distinct categories:

    • Best Practice Organization/Practitioner
    • Best Practice CEO
    • Best Practice Thought Leader
    • Best Practice Company Founder

    Multiple winners will be selected in each category, continuing our tradition of recognizing outstanding achievements in leadership and organizational development.

    Best Practice Organization/Practitioner Award

    This award honors senior-level executives and their organizations for implementing a program that successfully addresses a business need, engages users, and achieves demonstrable success.

    Practitioner Categories

    The award recognizes executives across 11 functional areas:

    • Sales/Marketing
    • Talent Management
    • Organizational Learning
    • Organization Development
    • Performance Management
    • Leadership Development
    • Workforce Planning/Analytics
    • Software Development

    In 2014, BPI recognized 25 individuals at 20 different corporations for their best practice leadership.

    Best Practice CEO Award

    Reflecting BPI's focus on leadership development, this award is for CEOs who show a deep commitment to cultivating top talent within their organizations.

    Key Criteria

    • A proven track record of aligning talent management strategy with overall business strategy.
    • Commands the respect of the company's employees.

    Best Practice Thought Leader Award

    This award celebrates scholars, authors, and innovators who have made significant contributions to business philosophy and practice.

    Key Criteria

    • Published influential books or articles in their field.
    • A substantial pool of followers.
    • Demonstrable success cases stemming from their work.

    Past Honorees

    Recent winners include David Deacon (MasterCard), Richard Olivier (Olivier MythoDrama), Bob Nelson (Nelson Motivation), Daryl Conner (Conner Partners), and Jonah Berger (Wharton School). Previous recipients include notable figures like Frances Hesselbein, Dr. W. Warner Burke, Edgar Schein, and John Kotter.

    Best Practice Company Founder Award

    This award recognizes founders who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have successfully developed an innovative product.
