    Membership & Programs

What is the Senior Executive Board? Is it like a Board of Directors?

The BPI Senior Executive Board is not BPI’s Board of Directors. It is our flagship offering, providing a unique experience for benchmarking, strategizing, and networking within the Human Resources industry. Membership is application-based, limited to 15 C-level or SVP executives per group who meet our criteria for values and best-practice leadership.

How do I renew my membership?

When your membership expires, the system will automatically prompt you to renew. Simply log in and follow the on-screen instructions.

How can my company become a corporate member?

Becoming a corporate member requires an internal company sponsor who has direct responsibility for the learning and development budget. That person must contact the Best Practice Institute office at 800-718-4274 for more information on corporate membership options.

How do I become a Senior Executive Board member?

To join, you must submit an application. Our internal staff will first review it to confirm that your seniority and company size meet the criteria. Following that, we will schedule a discussion with our founder and CEO. The final step is a review of your application by the existing Senior Executive Board.

    Webinars & Learning

How do I get my HRCI credits?

Upon completion of a webinar, you will be given a code to claim your HRCI credit.

How do I view past webinar recordings and PowerPoint Presentations?

To access past materials, use the search feature on our website to find the specific webinar by the presenter's name. On the webinar's page, you can watch the recording and find a link to download the PowerPoint presentation.

What best practices do you recommend for webinars?

    • Register Early: Four weeks before the webinar, we send out the PowerPoint deck and post it on the site for you to review.
    • Complete the Survey: Two weeks prior, you will receive an email survey. This is your opportunity to request expert help for a specific problem or tailor the session to your learning goals.
    • Watch for Reminders: Webex will send automatic reminders with log-in information the day before and the day of the webinar.

What should I expect when participating in the online learning process?

Participants are invited to log in via a link sent by Webex. To reduce background noise, please mute your microphone upon entry. The session structure includes:

    • Introductions and Networking: A brief period for informal benchmarking and introducing yourself.
    • Expert Presentation: A focused 20-minute presentation on our experts' highest-quality insights.
    • Benchmarking Session: A 20-minute session to hear how colleagues address similar problems and to pose questions to the experts.
    • Expert Wrap-up: A 10-minute summary of the most important takeaways.
    • Participant Takeaways: A final 10-minute segment for all participants to share the key practice or idea they are taking back to their work.

How do I find out about upcoming webinars?

Upcoming webinars are posted on the calendar on your "My Profile" page and within your Personal Development Plan. You can also find them listed under "Live Webinars" in the left-hand column of your screen.

What is My Personal Development Plan?

Your Personal Development Plan is a central location to find all your saved resources and add personal learning goals. If you are part of a corporate membership, your organization's learning goals will also be added here by your team leader. The platform documents your progress as you meet your goals.

    Technical & Customer Support

I am having technical problems with WebEx. What should I do?

If you experience technical difficulties with the webinar platform, please contact Cisco-Webex directly at 1-866-229-3239.

Is it safe to download Cisco’s program onto my computer?

Yes. Cisco is a highly reliable and secure platform, which is why we have chosen to partner with them. The Cisco program is safe, secure, and virus-free to download.

How do I submit a support ticket?

You can submit a support ticket using the support icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Response times are between 12-32 hours, depending on your account type.
