What is the BPI Senior Executive Board?

The Best Practice Institute’s Senior Executive Board (SEB) is a unique and exclusive service for the top talent management and leadership development executives at major corporations. All prospective members must be recommended, vetted, and approved by the existing group to ensure a high-caliber peer environment.

Current SEB members include senior talent leaders from organizations such as Walmart, Bank of America, MasterCard, British Petroleum, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, and Hilton Hotels Worldwide.

    Core Membership Benefits

Membership in the SEB offers a range of opportunities for personal development, team enablement, and organizational improvement.

    Strategic Peer Collaboration

    • Face-to-Face Benchmarking Meetings: Participate in two 2-day meetings each year, expertly facilitated by BPI and hosted at a member’s corporate site. These sessions are designed to solve critical talent management, leadership development, and organizational change challenges.
    • Benchmark-It Sessions: Present a current business case or challenge to receive direct consulting and advice from your executive peers.
    • Peer and Group Mentoring: Every member selects a peer mentor for the year and benefits from group mentoring, where the entire board acts as a personal coaching resource.

    Team and Talent Development

    • Develop Your Talent Cabinet: A single SEB membership extends to 10 members of your talent team. This includes SVPs of Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, CLOs, and CHROs. BPI provides concierge support for your team’s benchmarking and networking needs.
    • BPI Social Learning and Benchmarking Platform: Your team of 10 receives full user licenses, gaining access to BPI's entire library of 300+ on-demand webinars, live online learning sessions with HRCI credits, and social collaboration tools.
