Veritiv is Most Loved Workplace Certified in 2026. In March 2023, 91% of employees completed an engagement survey, with an overall engagement score of 85 and high confidence in culture fit (90%) and in company strategy and leadership (88%). Leaders turned feedback into action, including CEO Sal Abbate’s listening tour with more than 600 employees in small-group video roundtables. The company implemented “Dress for Your Day” and added new profit sharing for 4,700 employees who were not previously eligible for a bonus.

Values and collaboration are reinforced through the CODE of Values—Cultivate Innovation, Own It, Deliver and Delight, and Embrace the Green—a One Team mindset, the Vibe communications platform, an internal NPS, the BRAVO recognition platform, career development, five employee resource groups, and regular engagement and pulse surveys. Benefits back this culture: profit sharing for all employees; matching 100% of the first 3% plus 50% of the next 2% with immediate vesting; charitable match up to $10,000 per employee per year; and, as of 2024, eight hours of paid volunteer time annually.
