Director of Marketing Engineering & Growth

AI-Native Demand Generation, AEO/GEO and Revenue Systems

    Remote-friendly · US · Full-time · Reports to CEO · Competitive base + performance bonus

Build and operate the AI-native growth engine that turns Most Loved Workplace® brand authority, CertCheck buyer intent, research, customer conversations, and digital engagement into qualified pipeline and measurable revenue.

    Why this role exists

This is not a campaign-management job. It is a hands-on player-coach role at the intersection of marketing strategy, AI automation, demand generation, AEO/GEO, data infrastructure, and revenue operations. Best Practice Institute already owns the brand authority and the intent data — what's missing is the person who engineers the systems that continuously identify, engage, educate, and convert senior HR and employer-brand buyers. You will build those systems yourself, then scale what works.

    What you'll do

    • Own marketing-sourced pipeline and marketing-influenced revenue as the primary commercial KPIs
    • Build the integration layer: HubSpot ↔ CertCheck buyer-intent signals ↔ Fireflies ↔ Apollo ↔ LinkedIn ↔ bestpracticeinstitute.org
    • Build AI-assisted ABM content generated from real sales and customer conversations, under strict confidentiality controls
    • Own AEO/GEO and LLM visibility: structured data, citation and answer-engine monitoring, authority-content distribution
    • Convert the content calendar into an AI-enabled content and multi-format distribution system (Supergrow, video and design tooling)
    • Ship orchestration and agents: n8n or comparable, APIs, lightweight Python/JavaScript, custom AI agents running in production
    • Build source → opportunity → revenue attribution and automated revenue intelligence reporting to the CEO
    • Run rapid, measured experiments across paid, organic, outbound, social, and landing-page conversion
    • Retain strategic oversight of brand positioning and narrative; partnerships (SHRM, analysts, HR media) are secondary, not the core of the job
    • PR, media relationships, and executive visibility are explicitly NOT in this role — those sit with the CEO and a PR specialist

    What we measure you on

    • Marketing-sourced pipeline against quarterly target
    • Marketing-influenced revenue against annual target
    • Systems shipped and running in production — agents, integrations, automations, not decks
    • AEO/GEO performance: LLM citation share and answer-engine visibility on buyer questions
    • Attribution coverage of closed-won revenue (share of deals with a clean, trusted source path)
    • Cost per qualified opportunity trending down quarter over quarter
    • Experiment velocity — tests shipped, learnings documented, winners scaled

    What you bring

    • Proof you personally built a working AI agent, automation, integration, or marketing system — with the before-and-after commercial result
    • Clarity on your exact contribution versus what an agency or engineering team did
    • Deep HubSpot architecture and attribution ownership; you've designed the model, not just pulled the report
    • API, webhook, and orchestration fluency (n8n or comparable) plus enough coding or vibe-coding to prototype without waiting on engineering
    • AEO/GEO and structured-data literacy — you understand how answer engines choose sources
    • Ownership of B2B pipeline as a number you were accountable for, in a senior or player-coach capacity
    • HR-tech, employer-brand, or awards/recognition experience is a bonus — technical growth-system building is mandatory

    How to apply

Competitive base plus a performance bonus tied to qualified pipeline and marketing-sourced revenue. To apply, send: (1) one system you personally built — agent, automation, integration, or attribution model; (2) the before-and-after commercial result; (3) what you built versus what an agency or engineer built; and (4) a five-minute Loom walking through that system. No cover letter required. Applications without a system walkthrough will not be reviewed.
